Karin has created one of the best help guides for brides and their vendors called The Flower Wheel

How it works: You purchase/download the app for your iPhone or iPad

Click on a color/ or month

And it will pull a whole library of colors in that flower

When you click on the flower it will tell you important info on the flower, like what month it is in season

and a detailed description on that flower

You can also save the flowers to a folder… Making it ridiculously easy in planning and picking flowers for your wedding day

I know when I was getting married I knew of … roses. and hydrangea. and that’s about it.

I seriously wish this was around when i was getting married.

So when Karin asked me to be a part of her project and shoot the cover images… I said yes ( of course )

My little darling’s Birthday is coming up and we will be leaving to go to DISNEY WORLD!!!

aka the happiest place on earth.

We leave this Friday and return next Wednesday. So all emails will be answered next Wednesday.

As a wedding photographer we have quite a few things to do during the wedding day.

Getting ready shots, Portraits, Family photos, Ceremony, Photos of the couple together… Reception  and many many more

Sometimes it’s the smallest detail that can be pushed aside or forgotten.

In my work I specialize in Portraits and details. So when couples book me that is the look they are going for. Of course we get evrything else…

But one of my favorite parts about the weddding day is all the tiny details that go into making their day.

The shoes, the rings, attire, florals.. the list goes on and on.

I do have an assistant with me at all of my weddings but I shoot my own details. GASP!!! I know crazy right.

How do I do it?

Well I practice.

A LOT

 I’ve been asked to speak at the next Memphis SMUG MUG meeting to explain a little bit about the method to my madness

So photographers of all kinds are welcome. A lot of my techniques carry over into other areas.
