So I have this friend. Actually she’s one of my very best friends.

We are like insane balls of energy and ideas when we are together.

We have done countless Inspiration and magazine shoots together.

She’s my kindred spirit.

She’s also brilliant.

Karin has created one of the best help guides for brides and their vendors called The Flower Wheel

How it works: You purchase/download the app for your iPhone or iPad

Click on a color/ or month

And it will pull a whole library of colors in that flower

When you click on the flower it will tell you important info on the flower, like what month it is in season

and a detailed description on that flower

You can also save the flowers to a folder… Making it ridiculously easy in planning and picking flowers for your wedding day

I know when I was getting married I knew of … roses. and hydrangea. and that’s about it.

I seriously wish this was around when i was getting married.

So when Karin asked me to be a part of her project and shoot the cover images… I said yes ( of course )

So here are a few screen shots and a few of my images

A few weeks ago we photographed a fabulous little inspiration shoot.

The theme was Pomegranate

Karin of Haute Horticulture did a phenomenal job with the flowers and decor

I mean omg…. gorgeous

Kristin made these adorable fabric flowers and wreaths ( ps. she makes custom flowers for weddings )

Mahaffey provided gorgeous chairs and linens ( our pics are on their blog today..go check them out )

Stunning Stationary by the amazing Natalie Chang. We seriously love her and her beautiful work

Super Fabulous Shabby chic wedding
