{ Chili Time } Memphis wedding photographer

holla……. guess what… Its recipe time… and today I decided to give away my top secret chili recipe… I make it all of the time during the winter because my husband loves it.

Ingredients

1/2 and onion

5 bebe mushrooms

2 cups of frozen corn

1 can of kidney beans

1 can of black beans

1 can of ranch style beans

1 can of diced tomato

3-4 table spoons of garlic baby

2 table spoons of cumin

lots of salt and pepper

1/2 a lb of meat (we try to use small amounts of meat and use more beans …I used turkey for this one)

1 box of 2 alarm chili

and add red pepper flakes as you wish

Step 1

cut vegis.. brown meat… drain meat.. drain beans

step 2.

add chili mix, seasoning and corn

add beans and a/b 1/2 cup of water. add can of diced tomato (do not drain)

let that joker cook

…for like and hour…

cook a pot of rice (i use my handy rice cooker)

and eat!!!!

sorry no chili for Lola yet!

Bella, I love you and that’s the only reason I HAVE to ask why you are using jarred garlic? Do a taste test on fresh minced and jarred and you will switch faster than 1/8000 s! :) Chili looks amazing!

bahhaaa… ok the reason is…all of the grocery stores had been wiped clean due to the so called “deep freeze” we were going to have that we didn’t get…. so people were raiding the grocery stores… you know how memphians get… we got 1/4 an inch of snow. haaaa… that is the only reason… and yes the chili does taste different :)
