{ Traveling }

As I mentioned a few days ago I am leaving to go out of town. This time to visit my best friend in California…. I hear I will like it so much I won’t want to come back to this nasty Memphis weather.

Anyway… I got to thinking this morning about my recent trip to Hawaii and how it was by far one of the best trips I have ever been on.

Most of you know the story from here…. but those who don’t It wen’t like this……

I had been planning for our trip to Italy (to visit family) for over a year… Everything was packed we were leaving the next day when I awoke to at least 10 messages from people asking if we were still going due to the Icelandic volcano… you know the one that ruined everything… I jumped out of bed pulled up my flight information and sure enough all flights canceled. I can’t describe how devastated I was…. Practically my entire family came over and we cried and cried… and cried… This trip wasn’t just a fun trip to Italy… It was a time for me to see my aunts and uncles who I haven’t seen in 10 years.. a time for my husband to know where I come from… a time for my little girl to experience the world.. a time for me to relax… whoo just breaks my heart thinking about it..

We mourned over the loss of the trip for a good 3-4 hours went and had lunch and my brilliant husband suggested we go somewhere anyway.. I mean we took off over 2 weeks for this trip there was no way I was going to sit at home and pout… It was 4:45 and we jetted over to the nearest Travel agency to see if they could possibly help…

We ended up at The Travel Leaders . Our agent aka an angel found a trip to Hawaii and suggested Kauai (b/c we needed some major relaxation) booked us fun things to do… rented a car… found a hotel.. got us airline tickets.. together ( we left 1 day later… this chick was a magician)  and even arranged for us to receive our Leis when we arrived instead of when we left… and Omg the biggest part was she canceled our old flights and even got our money back from them. If you had a trip canceled at this time you know it was a good 4 hour wait on the phone.. and then some to even talk to the airlines.

Travel leaders gave me the most perfect relaxing vacation I have ever had.

My point in all of this is vacations are supposed to be relaxing right.. and all the planning is not so relaxing. So I learned first hand it is so much better to just hire someone who does it for a living…

Brides send your groom to Travel leaders so they can plan the perfect honeymoon..  Oh You can check them out yourselves at the summer Premier Bridal show, On August 15…. I won’t be at this show but I will be at the January one.

So Thank you again Travel Leaders for giving me such sweet memories

You can call them: 901-853-6200  or 901-377-6600
